A 40-year-old with roots in Colombia, South America, my family embarked on an exciting journey to Canada when I was 18.
My upbringing was filled with the joy of riding horses and the warmth of a close-knit family. As the child of immigrants and an immigrant myself, I witnessed the unwavering dedication of my parents to provide for our family, instilling in me a strong work ethic that I hold dear.
